My thrifting 101

So what I've learned in my 21 years of living; is that thrifting requires time and patience. In order to have a proper successful thrifting haul you must first...

1. Plan a day to go thrifting. You will need at least a few hours per store so you can take you time to look and try on items.

2. Do NOT take anyone with you. You will need your time alone to think and focus. Taking your friends is a bad idea. Remember great minds think alike, so that top you like your BFF make like as well.

3. Try on clothing before you leave. The items you are getting will be cut in all different sizes to fit many different types of people. Don't be afraid to try on clothes before you purchase them. This will save you future heartache.

4. Take your time. Take your time to look through everything, you'll never know what you may find if your rushing through the clothing bloom through the clothing think of what you could wear it with and how it will look on you.

5. Set a budget. Setting a budget will stop you from going thrifting crazy and it will help you make smarter choices, forcing you to only get what you really want and not waste extra money on something you may give away later.

6. Wash your clothes. Wash your clothing, the clothes does not always  get brought in washed so wash your clothes to get rid of any bug, dirt, germ or whatever maybe living in the fabric. Eewwww

These are my basic thrifting 101 tips. These are the tips I follow to get any successful hauls.
